Can you cancel a DPD collection?
If you no longer need to send your parcel, you can cancel your order and request a refund. Please note that to be eligible for a refund you must: Be the contract holder with DPD Local. Have booked the delivery within the last 28 days.
The driver will do everything they can to get your attention when you're at home, but sometimes you'll still miss each other. How do you change a DPD collection?
Of course, with DPD you can change the collection date as long as no attempt to collect has already been made. For this, all you need to do is get in touch via the help centre. In general, collection requests should be made 24 hours in advance.
DPD will attempt to deliver twice. If you miss both attempts and don't contact them to rearrange your delivery, your parcel will either go to nearest pick up location or be taken back to the depot where it will be held for 3 days before returned to our warehouse.

How many attempts do DPD make?
If you are sending a parcel to a business address, the driver will attempt to deliver the parcel a maximum of three times. The last attempt will only take place by appointment. If it still was not possible to deliver the parcel, the parcel will send back to the sender.

Do you need ID for DPD Pickup?
Yes, in addition to their own ID, that person must also bring a copy or photo of the ID of the actual recipient so that we can check the name and details with what is on the parcel.
DPD Pickup allows you to have your parcel delivered to your local DPD Pickup shop (2,500 shops). You'll be notified by email & SMS when your parcel is ready to collect, and you'll have up to 7 days to collect at a time to suit you. Select the DPD Pickup option in the checkout.
Does DPD deliver on Saturday?
If the sender of your parcel opts for the Saturday delivery service, your parcel will be delivered on Saturday. Your parcel can't be delivered on Saturday because you're not at home? Then we will first try the neighbours, or we will deliver it to a Pickup parcelshop nearby.
Packages can be returned to sender for a number of reasons including, insufficient address, refused by consignee, prohibited items or no customs documentation.
What time do DPD deliver until?
We normally deliver between 8a. m. - 6p. m.
Returned to sender is a common policy used by post carriers to handle items that could not be delivered. If an item could not be delivered for any reason, the item would be sent back to the indicated return address.
How do I return to sender?
All you need to do is write “RETURN TO SENDER” on the front of the envelope and put it back in your mailbox. Your postal worker will take care of it for you from there.17-Mar-2022
You can get a refund if your package is returned to sender by USPS, but it must be done before the package enters the post stream.
