Not only will your customers receive a one hour delivery timeslot, but they'll now also be able to track the progress of their parcels on a map as our drivers make their way to the delivery addresses. Follow My Parcel will: Display the location of our driver in relation to the delivery address.
Do DPD give you a time slot?
Thanks to our industry-leading Predict service, we provide parcel recipients with a one hour delivery window, notified by SMS and email, so they don't have to wait in all day. What's more, it enables receivers to watch the progress of their delivery on a real-time map, all the way down to a final 15 minute timeslot.
You will receive your one hour window on the day of delivery once the driver has scanned all the parcels onto the van, this is usually by 12 noon.
Why can't I track my DPD?
Most often when a parcel's tracking has stopped updating, it is simply due to a small delay in the delivery, or a delay in the tracking system registering the parcel's progress. However, if your parcel tracking has stopped for more than two or three days, there could be complications with the delivery itself.
DPD will send delivery updates by text. You'll get a text: the day before the delivery, including tracking information and an the option to rearrange. on the morning of the delivery - you'll get a one-hour scheduled delivery time (e.g. between 12.24 and 13.24) and the name of the DPD driver.
What time do DPD deliver to?
The delivery times vary each day from around 8am to 6pm. Drivers in other countries all deliver from Monday to Friday.
How many times do DPD try to deliver?
How many attempts are made to deliver a parcel? The driver will make one delivery attempt. You're not there? The driver will try to deliver your parcel to your neighbour or at a Pickup parcelshop, so that you may receive your parcel as soon as possible but not later than 7 days.

What does in transit mean DPD?
When your shipment is 'in transit', this means that it is en route towards its destination. Your parcel has left the departure warehouse. Once it arrives at the destination branch, its status will change to 'out for delivery'.

Does DPD deliver on a Sunday?

Your dpd driver is required to take a photo of the parcel at the point of delivery as a proof of delivery. The parcel sender is expecting a signature as proof of delivery, instead of a signature, our driver takes a photo of the parcel in the doorway to prove it was handed over.
