The iammoving.com service lets you redirect your mail online for over 1500 organisations completely free. This service is useful for if you are moving home permanently, for periods of over a month, or if you want your mail going to another address.
Can you just redirect mail?
You can't redirect your mail for free, but you can either pay to redirect your mail or update your address across all providers at the same time.

How much does it cost to redirect mail UK?
If you're moving home or moving your business, redirect your mail at the Post Office from just £33.99. You can redirect your post to any address in the UK or abroad.
You can redirect mail from a PO Box for a maximum of six months. The PO Box must remain open during the Redirection period. You can redirect to a PO Box for up to four years.
How much does it cost to forward your mail?

Does Royal Mail redirection work?
Once you register for mail redirection, Royal Mail will do the rest of the work for you. When Royal Mail receives any post addressed to your old home, the postal team will match the “sent to” details with your new information. Then, they will forward your letters to your new address. It's as simple as that!
All first class and priority mail, USPS (United States Postal Service) packages and subscription magazines will be forwarded. Newspapers, catalogs, media mail, CD's, bulk mail and presorted standard mail cannot be forwarded.

How long does it take to get a Royal Mail Redirection set up? Royal Mail recommend allowing up to three weeks to get a redirection set up, but they can be processed in as little as five working days. You can apply for a redirection up to 3 months before moving, so try to give as much notice as you can.

Does redirected mail take longer to arrive?
Forwarded mail takes about a week longer to arrive since it has to be processed twice.

Extended Mail Forwarding provides customers the ability to extend the forwarding of their mail in six-, twelve-, or eighteen-month increments, not to exceed a total of eighteen months of extended forwarding time. Extended Mail Forwarding is only available for permanent Change of Address.
