What is VFS in Canada visa?
VFS Global is the private company authorised by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada to operate the Canada Visa Application Centre in India.
In person – You'll have to bring your original passport, passport bio page (2 copies), along with the passport request letter to the Visa Application Centre. To submit your passport at the Visa Application Centre, you'll have to pay a service charge for Package Transmission.
Can I go to VFS without appointment?

How long does it take to get a Canadian visa?
It can take anywhere between two to four weeks, or even longer. Your Canadian visa begins to process only after the Canadian authorities have received your complete application. If they need you to get them additional documents, the processing time will be delayed.

How long it takes to get passport from VFS?

What are the documents required for VFS?
Valid passport or travel documents Current original passport with an expiry date of at least three months after expiry date of the visa and must have at least two (2) blank pages. I If you renewed the passport less than a year, submit your previous passport as well (copy of every page with a visa or a stamp on it).

How do I get an early visa appointment?

You can track your application using the reference number on your receipt, which is issued to you on the day of your appointment. If you have opted for the SMS service you will be notified via SMS and email regarding the status of your application.
Does VFS charges for biometrics?
