How do I pay for DPD delivery?
At checkout DPD will offer a number of ways in which you can pay. You can use major credit cards, debit cards, PayPal or a prepay account that you can open with DPD.
You will receive an email or a text message from DPD NL containing a link to the payment platform where you can pay your customs charges by, for example, Ideal or by credit card. Please note; DPD will communicate a 14-digit parcel number in this payment request.

Is pay on delivery same as cash on delivery?

The DPD driver will leave a note in your letterbox stating the address of the Pickup parcel shop and when the parcel will be available for collection. Will DPD deliver without a signature?
Your driver is required to hand over the parcel at the point of delivery, unless we have your permission to leave the parcel somewhere safe. The parcel sender is expecting a signature as proof of delivery, instead of a signature, our driver takes a photo of the parcel in the doorway to prove it was handed over.
Deliver my parcel anyway. That's fine, we will automatically try to leave your parcel with your neighbour if you're not in. Not everyone gets on with their neighbours, so if you want to tell us your preferred neighbour, or a safe place at your property.

If you're not at home to collect a DPD delivery DPD will leave a card, telling you they tried to deliver. Please call the number on the card to arrange a convenient time for your order to be delivered. If you don't call DPD, they'll try to deliver your order on the next working day.
