How does it work DPD?
On the morning of delivery, we send your customer an SMS and/or email specifying the 1-hour window in which to expect delivery. Your customer looks forward to receiving their parcel within the given time frame; Or they have the option to reschedule to a more suitable day, right from their device.
DPD delivery takes 1-2 working days for UK deliveries and as little as 2-4 working days for international destinations*, such as the USA.
Does DPD always text before delivery?
DPD will send delivery updates by text. You'll get a text: the day before the delivery, including tracking information and an the option to rearrange. on the morning of the delivery - you'll get a one-hour scheduled delivery time (e.g. between 12.24 and 13.24) and the name of the DPD driver.
The DPD driver will leave a note in your letterbox stating the address of the Pickup parcel shop and when the parcel will be available for collection. DPD will also send you an email stating when the parcel has arrived at the Pickup parcel shop. Take some proof of identity with you when you go to collect your parcel.
Does DPD require a signature?
Your dpd driver is required to take a photo of the parcel at the point of delivery as a proof of delivery. The parcel sender is expecting a signature as proof of delivery, instead of a signature, our driver takes a photo of the parcel in the doorway to prove it was handed over.
How many attempts are made to deliver a parcel? The driver will make one delivery attempt. You're not there? The driver will try to deliver your parcel to your neighbour or at a Pickup parcelshop, so that you may receive your parcel as soon as possible but not later than 7 days.
Is Saturday a working day DPD?
Do DPD deliver on Saturdays? Yes. Once you book your delivery on the day before (Friday), you have several Saturday delivery service options to choose from.

Where is my DPD parcel?
If you want to know where your DPD parcel is you can monitor it with Track & Trace. Use your 14-digit parcel number or your reference number for this. Have your plans changed? Then you can easily adjust the delivery online.

Does DPD give cash on delivery?
DPD does not offer any 'Cash-on-delivery' services.
Phone orders We use DPD to deliver your phone to you. DPD will deliver to your home address from Monday to Saturday, apart from bank holidays.
Does DPD deliver to your home?
The driver will first try to deliver the parcel to the recipient's address. If they are not home, the driver will try to deliver it to the next-door neighbour. If they are not home either, the parcel will be taken to the nearest Pickup parcel shop. It can then be collected from there by the recipient the next day.
DPD's delivery operation will run between 9am and 5pm on Sundays, with our network of 52 nationwide depots also being open during these times.
How do I know if a DPD text is genuine?
A fake text can be identified by the following characteristics: Poor language - look out for badly written sentences with spelling and grammatical errors. Lack of a personal salutation - you will be addressed as 'Dear Customer' or 'Dear Sir/Madam'
