How many attempts are made to deliver a parcel? The driver will make one delivery attempt. You're not there? The driver will try to deliver your parcel to your neighbour or at a Pickup parcelshop, so that you may receive your parcel as soon as possible but not later than 7 days.
Not going to be in? That's fine, we will automatically try to leave your parcel with your neighbour if you're not in. What happens if you don't pick up DPD parcel?
DPD will also send you an email stating when the parcel has arrived at the Pickup parcel shop. Take some proof of identity with you when you go to collect your parcel. You have seven days in which to pick it up. If it is not collected during this time, it will be returned to the sender.
The time your parcel will be collected will depend on which service you've booked and with which carrier, but most of the collected courier services we offer are collected Monday-Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, excluding bank holidays and public holidays.
