What is parcel Wizard?
Parcel Wizard is a unique service brought to you by DPD Ireland. Parcel Wizard enables you to manage your deliveries to suit your busy lifestyle. It also gives you access to the Parcel Wizard UK Virtual Address service where you can benefit from lower cost deliveries from UK etailers.
It costs just €3.85 from the Virtual Address to your chosen address in Ireland. Parcels must weigh under 20kg and be a maximum size of 40cm x 40cm x 60cm.
What happens when DPD fails to deliver?
If you don't call DPD, they'll try to deliver your order on the next working day. If you're not there again, it'll try again for a third time on the next working day after that. If you still weren't able to receive your order after the third attempt, DPD will hold on to it for seven days.
How many attempts are made to deliver a parcel? The driver will make one delivery attempt. You're not there? The driver will try to deliver your parcel to your neighbour or at a Pickup parcelshop, so that you may receive your parcel as soon as possible but not later than 7 days.
What do you need for DPD collection?
Choose from one of our 2,500 local Pickup shops and we'll have your parcel ready for you by midday tomorrow. You'll need to be bring 2 pieces of ID, photo ID and ID with your address on it, such as a utility bill.
DPD parcel collection puts the delivery process in your hands. You can choose where our couriers collect your parcel from, as well as the day. We will even advise you in advance of the one hour collection timeslot, so you can plan the rest of your day without waiting around for us.
How long do DPD take to deliver?
DPD delivery takes 1-2 working days for UK deliveries and as little as 2-4 working days for international destinations*, such as the USA.
Do DPD deliver on Saturdays? Yes. Once you book your delivery on the day before (Friday), you have several Saturday delivery service options to choose from.
Does delivered consignee mean delivered?
A consignee in shipping is listed on the bill of lading (BOL). This person or entity is the shipment receiver and generally the owner of the shipped goods. Unless there are other instructions, the consignee is the entity or person legally required to be present to accept the shipment.
During Bank holidays there will be no deliveries.
Can I drop off DPD at post office?
DPD will be allowed to use Post Office branches for dropping off packages starting from next week.16-Aug-2021
DPD Pickup allows you to have your parcel delivered to your local DPD Pickup shop (2,500 shops). You'll be notified by email & SMS when your parcel is ready to collect, and you'll have up to 7 days to collect at a time to suit you. Select the DPD Pickup option in the checkout.
Are DPD returns free?
