Just like Roundup, you can use Speedzone all year long (weather permitting of course). Speedzone is known to effectively kill weeds while keeping your lawn safe. Does SpeedZone need a surfactant?
SpeedZone Lawn Weed Killer Concentrate does contain a surfactant and additional one is not required for use with it. The SpeedZone Red which is very similar to the Lawn Weed Killer does state on the product label that adding one may reduce the selectivity on the turfgrass so it could harm your lawn in adding one.

Which is better T zone or SpeedZone?

Is SpeedZone safe?
Answer: Most herbicides including Speedzone Southern are safe to use as long as you follow the label. As with any product you are using, you want to keep the pets out of the area being treated during the treatment and until the product has dried.
According to the Speedzone Southern product label you are prohibited from broadcast spraying when temperatures reach 85F degrees or above and spot treatments may cause injury as well when temps reach 85F degrees.
