What days DX deliver?
Time of delivery is usually, but not exclusively, by 18:00 on the working day immediately following the weekday of collection. A working day is defined as Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).
The DX Exchange service provides pre-9am next working day delivery as standard. For additional peace of mind, DX provides tracked delivery services for DX Members which offer tracking for your most important documents and parcels.
Is DX part of Royal Mail?
Established in 1975 during the Royal Mail postal strikes of the 1970s, DX Group has been in private ownership since 2006 and combines DX Network Services Ltd, DX Secure (previously Secure Mail Services (SMS)) and, as of 15 March 2012, DX Freight, previously known as Nightfreight GB until its acquisition in 2012.
Every day, DX collects, transports and delivers parcels, packages, and consignments of every size, weight and shape for business customers throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland. We deliver to every part of each of these territories, as well as on into Europe and beyond to the rest of the world.
Does DX work on weekends?
Yes, we can, upon payment of an extra charge and subject to agreement of your delivery profile.
Can DX Courier deliver earlier than 6pm? Our time of delivery is usually by 18:00 but a premium delivery deadline of 12:00 Monday to Friday may be available on payment of an extra charge.
What happens if I miss a DX delivery?
In the event that a DX Courier (B2B) package cannot be delivered to its destination for whatever reason, DX will leave a calling card and try to deliver it again the next working day, after which it will be held at a DX Service Centre for five working days.

How long is DX Post?
When you book your delivery with DX, your item will be collected from an address of your choice and delivered to the recipient within 2 working days. You can track your parcel from collection through to delivery.
If you have a DX tracking, consignment or reference number you can check the status of your delivery by using our online tracking service. Simply go to Track, enter your number and follow the steps on the page.
Will DX leave with a Neighbour?
These items will be either letterboxed or, for larger packages, left with a neighbour or in a discreet place out of general sight. Further delivery security options are available, upon application, for delivery of highly sensitive items and documents.
Now, most solicitors and law practices have a DX number. It allows us to move paperwork quickly and securely. So for example, if you are buying a house, the signed contracts between buyer and seller will be moved in this way.03-May-2016

Do all DX Courier packages require a signature upon delivery? No. Packages can be sent via our Track Only service, if chosen by the sender, which means our driver will confirm delivery without the recipient having to sign.
