What days of the week do DPD deliver?
Weekend Delivery Due to the pace of life during the week, with professional and family commitments, Saturday and Sunday parcel delivery services have become a necessity for some people. At DPD Local Online, we offer services on both days. Saturday and Sunday deliveries are part of our speciality.
DPD's delivery operation will run between 9am and 5pm on Sundays, with our network of 52 nationwide depots also being open during these times.
What times do DPD deliver on Saturday?
In the weekend on Saturday but not on Sunday. The delivery times vary each day from around 8am to 6pm. Drivers in other countries all deliver from Monday to Friday. During Bank holidays there will be no deliveries.

Does DPD require signature?
With every delivery of a parcel via DPD, the driver asks for a signature for receipt. This is a standard service of DPD and therefore without any extra costs.
DPD will send delivery updates by text. You'll get a text: the day before the delivery, including tracking information and an the option to rearrange. on the morning of the delivery - you'll get a one-hour scheduled delivery time (e.g. between 12.24 and 13.24) and the name of the DPD driver.
What is DPD next working day?
DPD Two Day - delivery within two working days. DPD Next Day - delivery by the end of the next working day.
If you are sending a parcel to a business address, the driver will attempt to deliver the parcel a maximum of three times. The last attempt will only take place by appointment. If it still was not possible to deliver the parcel, the parcel will send back to the sender.

If you have missed a parcel from DPD, you may receive a text message similar to the one below. The key point to note is the website link in the text message is a scam – the differences between this and the genuine DPD website addresses are subtle, but they are vital.
What happens when you miss a DPD delivery?
The driver will make one delivery attempt. You're not there? The driver will try to deliver your parcel to your neighbour or at a Pickup parcelshop, so that you may receive your parcel as soon as possible but not later than 7 days.
If it happens that your parcel is marked delivered but it was not received, the reason may simply be a wrong information that the courier driver had inserted into the trackign system. The status can, in fact, pertain to a different package. The courier company will be able to clear up the picture.
