What does advised not received mean with Parcelforce?
Advised not received– Parcels where we have received pre-advice but have not yet received the parcel.
As soon as a parcel enters our network it will get a tracking scan and the status to appear on the website will be 'In progress'.
Why can't Parcelforce confirm the status of my parcel?
There are a few reasons why your tracking number isn't recognised. Please check you've entered the number correctly. If you're waiting for a parcel delivery check the sender has given you the right reference number. Check the reference number is for an item sent using a Parcelforce Worldwide service.
Tracking is available via our website or the Parcelforce App and senders and recipients can use My Parcel Live on the day of delivery.

In 1990 Royal Mail Parcels was rebranded to Parcelforce, along with a massive investment in IT and infrastructure with the introduction of online tracking and the construction our National and International sorting hubs. Then in 1998 the business was rebranded to Parcelforce Worldwide.
Why does Parcelforce take so long?
the delay is caused by adherence to Parcelforce Worldwide policies to provide a copy of the delivery record or a copy of the signature obtained at delivery; the parcel has not been packed adequately or has been packaged incorrectly. This information can be found in our Packaging Advice pages.
We currently cannot give specific times for deliveries. We will attempt to deliver a maximum of 3 times, after which you will need to collect your parcel from the depot.
Does advise track?

We also offer a Sunday delivery service for non-account customers through our Post Office® branches. If the parcel is sent on a Friday we can guarantee a Sunday delivery*.
Do Parcelforce deliver on weekends?
Deliveries on a Saturday are between 7am and 2pm. However, if the sender has not chosen the Saturday delivery service, then we will deliver your parcel on Monday (except for Bank Holidays / Public Holidays).

Does Parcelforce give delivery window?
Users can view a 1 hour delivery window for the parcel (e.g – 10am-11am) as well as the name of the driver.
To ensure the safe delivery of your parcel, we need a signature to confirm successful delivery. If there is nobody to receive the parcel, the driver will either attempt delivery to a neighbour or take your parcel to be securely held at the local Post Office or depot.
Who delivers Parcelforce?

How long does Parcel Force take to deliver UK?
Deliveries to UK recipients in UK zones 1-3 are usually made between 7:00am and 6:00pm Monday to Friday, depending on the service selected. A Saturday service is available to the majority of UK destinations for an additional fee of £12 per consignment. Deliveries are typically between 7:00am and 1:00pm.
What does it mean? Courier collection/ ParcelShop drop-off. Your parcel is still with the courier who came to collect it, or at the ParcelShop you left it with. Local collection depot.
Does Post Office Post Parcelforce?
