What does prepared for delivery mean?
Prepared for delivery When the sender has chosen and paid for the Saturday delivery service, we will deliver your parcel on a Saturday.
That we deliver Monday to Friday 7am to 5.30pm and Saturday 7am to 2pm. We currently cannot give specific times for deliveries. We will attempt to deliver a maximum of 3 times, after which you will need to collect your parcel from the depot.
Why does Parcelforce take so long?

Missed a parcel delivery? After an initial attempted delivery, we will automatically attempt redelivery on the next working day if we haven't left your item at your local Post Office or with a neighbour. You can arrange an alternative redelivery or pick up below.
Why does my package say preparing for delivery?
Your package is moving within the UPS network and is going to be delivered on the scheduled delivery date. A package can remain in this status until delivery. Packages moving long distances are often not scanned again between origin and destination.

Does Parcelforce require signature?
To ensure the safe delivery of your parcel, we need a signature to confirm successful delivery. If there is nobody to receive the parcel, the driver will either attempt delivery to a neighbour or take your parcel to be securely held at the local Post Office or depot.

How long does it take for Parcelforce to deliver UK?
Deliveries to UK recipients in UK zones 1-3 are usually made between 7:00am and 6:00pm Monday to Friday, depending on the service selected. A Saturday service is available to the majority of UK destinations for an additional fee of £12 per consignment. Deliveries are typically between 7:00am and 1:00pm.
As soon as a parcel enters our network it will get a tracking scan and the status to appear on the website will be 'In progress'.
