What is shipment Reference DHL?
You can track your DHL Express shipments using a personalized shipper's reference. Adding this shipper's reference on your waybill allows DHL account holders to differentiate shipments on their monthly invoice.17-Nov-2017
If there is no one available to accept the parcel, our DHL courier will leave a calling card at the address informing the receiver that they tried to deliver a parcel. The receiver can either collect the parcel from their local DHL Service Point or arrange another delivery.
How fast is DHL Express?

Do DHL text you before delivery?
You're Next - the customer can request to receive a 'You're next' text when the driver is one stop away, typically 5-15 minutes before the delivery.

Can I track DHL without tracking number?
Yes, it is possible to track the DHL parcel without a tracking number. To do this you need to go to the DHL website and enter the reference number owned by the shipper. All this information should be entered into the yellow box found on the right-hand side of the screen.
This reference could be a purchase order (PO) number, a customer number, a company name, a Bill of Lading number, or a phrase that identifies that shipment -- such as "10 crates" or "gift for Mum." Shipment references can be any combination of letters and numbers up to 35 characters.
Does DHL deliver without signature?
To assist our customers who do not wish to sign on scanners or on paper due to social distancing, we have temporarily enabled the Signature Release option for all shipments on our On Demand Delivery platform. Does DHL leave packages at the door?
Yes, DHL delivers to your door. Even though the parcel is meant to be delivered directly to the end-user, it passes through many stages. The parcel sent by the sender is accumulated in one area and then shipped to the destination hub. At the destination hub, the parcels are segregated based on the end-users address.
DHL will make 2 delivery attempts before placing the shipment on hold. They will then try and contact you to let you know that the delivery was attempted and determine if the package should go back for a 3rd attempt or if the receiver would like to pick it up from the depot.
Can I pickup my parcel from DHL?
DHL eCommerce's pickup window is from Monday to Saturday, between 12.00pm - 6.00pm. Upon arrival at the pick-up address, DHL eCommerce's delivery person will check to ensure that each parcel is packed in good condition for transportation. Is DHL Faster than FedEx? It depends on the desired route. FedEx shipping service is typically faster for domestic transportation in the US. As for international shipping, the DHL Express service is usually the fastest shipping option with completed deliveries in up to three business days.
Does DHL deliver at night?
DHL Delivery Hours Holidays and weekends also impact delivery timelines. DHL delivery hours are between 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday in the US. DHL doesn't offer weekend or holiday delivery in the US, unless you're willing to pay extra and make special arrangements.19-Mar-2021
The simple answer is Yes! DHL does provide delivery options on Saturdays.
Do DHL deliver on Sundays?
So, whilst there is no posting on Sunday, you can still plan and prepare your parcels in advance to ensure quick delivery. If you are looking to offer a weekend parcel delivery service to your customers, we do offer a Saturday delivery service, as an optional extra but do not currently offer a Sunday delivery service.
