What is sense aware?
SenseAware advanced monitoring uses a multi-sensor device that collects real-time data for critical shipments from the moment they're packed and picked up to the time they're delivered — and even beyond.
On all failed delivery attempts, a FedEx courier is required to leave an attempt notice for delivery. Due to daily delivery volume, a courier is unable to wait for a period more than 5 minutes to attempt a delivery.
What to do if you think FedEx stole your package?
For shipments originating from outside the U.S. (except Canada), contact FedEx International Customer Service at 1.800.463.3339.
It will be held for pickup as early as the same day of your missed delivery attempt. Packages not picked up within 7 days will be returned to the nearest FedEx facility or shipper. Refer to your door tag for the pickup location and availability.
Do I throw away FedEx SenseAware?
FedEx is continuously developing automation and communication strategies to ensure the units are removed prior to the proof of delivery scan. However, should a SenseAware ID be left on the package, it can be removed from the package and stored outside the secure space until it can be returned to FedEx personnel.28-Aug-2020

Does FedEx deliver again if no one is home?
What if I am not home to sign for my package? If you are not home to sign for your package, a doortag will be left at your door and the driver may reattempt delivery. To avoid missed deliveries, sign up for FedEx Delivery Manager, where you will be able to sign electronically or give special instructions for delivery.
Generally, FedEx requires a signature on all deliveries. However, we may be able to leave your package without a signature on the following conditions: - Have a suitable secure location to leave your package. - Your signature on the delivery attempt notice.
What happens if I miss FedEx delivery 3 times?
After the 3-attempts the package will be held in the area for 10-days pending action, before it is returned to our facility. Someone 21+ needs to sign for the package. If you are unavailable, you can log on to FedEx.com: http://fedex.com/ or call 1800GoFedEx (say 'hold package') for pickup locations near you.14-May-2020
FedEx provides a clear claim process for stolen packages. As such, if you placed an order and shipped any items through FedEx, you can easily claim the lost package online. Once you have placed the claim, the courier resolves the claim within five to seven days.28-Jul-2020
Who is responsible if package is stolen?
The key parties involved in getting a package to a consumer are the Seller, the Delivery Company, and the Buyer. Unfortunately, if the package cannot be retrieved, there are no clear laws that put the onus on any one party.
If your package's tracking status says it was delivered but you can't find it, go to our tracking page and follow these steps: Enter your tracking number or reference number. Select Manage Delivery, then Report Missing Package.
Will FedEx attempt to deliver twice in one day?

You must ensure the packaging you use allows the release of this pressure to prevent rupturing the package.
