What is the largest parcel I can send with Parcelforce?
Weight - There is no limit to the weight of a multi-parcel consignment but individual parcels must not exceed 30kg. Length and Girth - For our standard services, The size of each parcel must not exceed 3 metres in length and girth combined and must not exceed 1.5 metres in length.
We carry up to 30kg per parcel and up to 2.5m length and 4m length and girth combined. Our maximum sizes and weights can be found here.
What is Parcel Force Express 48?
Express 48 collection times Parcelforce will collect your parcel from your home or office and deliver it within 2 working days. Collections are generally made between 7:00 am and 5:30 pm Monday to Friday. If you'd prefer to drop off your parcel, see our Parcelforce Express 48 Drop Off service.
ParcelForce's large parcel delivery services have a size limit of 2.5 metres in length and 4 metres length and girth combined. The weight limit is 30kg for individual parcels with no restrictions on the amount of packages you can send.
Is Parcelforce 48 tracked?
If you are sending a parcel through parcelforce.com you will be provided with a tracking number in your order confirmation email, or on the Post Office receipt if you have dropped it off at your local branch.
Maximum Parcel Size Pieces going to a domestic location may not measure more than 108 inches in length and girth combined. USPS Retail Ground® mailpieces are an exception; they may not measure more than 130 inches in length and girth combined.
How do you calculate maximum overall size?
With some services there are restrictions on the maximum allowed which is calculated with the Overall Size. How to calculate overall size: Take the two shortest sides of your parcel and sum them. Multiply the sum by 2 and finally add the length. The total is the overall size.

Can I send large parcels at the post office?
You can send large parcels on our two day large parcel service via selected local Post Office® branches. Please download the list to check for availability local to you. Please note you cannot organise a large parcel drop off at a Post Office® branch online.
For even heavier items, try UPS Ground. The service accepts packages that weigh up to 150 pounds. For very large and heavy items such as furniture, FedEx Freight might save you money on shipping. Heavy products need to ship in stronger cardboard boxes to stay secure in transit.16-Sept-2020
