Why does my UPS package say delivery attempted?
A delivery attempt is when a driver from a carrier tries to physically bring a package or parcel to its intended address and recipient. Delivery attempts are categorized as either successful or unsuccessful. The term “attempted delivery” is often used by carriers to signify an unsuccessful attempt to deliver.

What do I do if my package says attempted delivery?
If your package is marked as attempted delivery, don't worry! The driver will typically try again the next business day. If you're still not home or available to accept the package, the driver will leave a notice with information on how to arrange a future delivery or pick-up.15-Jun-2022

How many times will UPS attempt to deliver a package?
UPS may make up to three delivery attempts at its discretion at your address on regular UPS delivery days. After the final attempt, undeliverable packages will be returned to the sender. To prevent your package from being returned or to make alternate delivery arrangements, track your package.

Why is UPS SurePost so slow?
Delivery time is slower than ground service. The delivery time of SurePost is typically one day slower than UPS Ground. What happens if a package needs a signature and no one is home?
If a shipment requires, either an indirect, direct or adult signature, and a delivery attempt is made, but no one is there to sign for the package, the driver will leave a door tag at the recipient's door.
If the package doesn't require a signature, but you're concerned UPS may not leave it for you, you can click the “Provide Delivery Instructions” button at the right side of the details view. Click the “Leave At” box and select a location where you'd like UPS to leave the package.04-Mar-2018
What happens when UPS leaves a notice?
Your package(s) will be available for pickup at a UPS Access Point™ location — We will deliver your package to a UPS Access Point location near your home, where it will be held for seven calendar days for you to pick up at a time that is convenient for you.
We do not charge to redirect packages to UPS customer centers, The UPS Store locations, or UPS Access Point locations. UPS My Choice members will have a fee for delivery change requests to any other addresses. Please know changing the delivery address of your package could delay your scheduled delivery date.
What is the difference between UPS and UPS SurePost?
