Why has my DPD parcel not been collected?
Why hasn't my parcel been collected? There are few reasons why a courier may not be present for a scheduled collection: Driver Out of Time — other deliveries have ran over their allotted time period, which means there's no time left on the day for the driver to collect your parcel.
The time your parcel will be collected will depend on which service you've booked and with which carrier, but most of the collected courier services we offer are collected Monday-Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, excluding bank holidays and public holidays.
Can you track DPD collections?
Other parcels may only be shown as collected once they've been scanned at the courier depot. You can quickly track your parcel in future by clicking the 'Track Your Parcel' button in the top right of our website header, and entering your DPD reference number.
With DPD parcel collection our couriers come to a specific location, chosen by you, to pick up a parcel before taking it back to the depot to be sorted then sent on to the recipient. Parcel collection services are ever popular, as they give freedom to the sender to get on with their day uninterrupted.
How many attempts do DPD make?
If you are sending a parcel to a business address, the driver will attempt to deliver the parcel a maximum of three times. The last attempt will only take place by appointment. If it still was not possible to deliver the parcel, the parcel will send back to the sender.
If you're not at home to collect a DPD delivery DPD will leave a card, telling you they tried to deliver. Please call the number on the card to arrange a convenient time for your order to be delivered. If you don't call DPD, they'll try to deliver your order on the next working day.
Does DPD always text before delivery?
DPD will send delivery updates by text. You'll get a text: the day before the delivery, including tracking information and an the option to rearrange. on the morning of the delivery - you'll get a one-hour scheduled delivery time (e.g. between 12.24 and 13.24) and the name of the DPD driver.

Does DPD require signature?
With every delivery of a parcel via DPD, the driver asks for a signature for receipt. This is a standard service of DPD and therefore without any extra costs.
It's not possible to track your DPD package without a tracking number.
Can you track DPD by postcode?
Alternatively just click on the link in your email or SMS, or if you've had a 'sorry we missed you' card, you'll find the number beside the barcode. Enter your reference number and postcode on this page to track your parcel.
If I miss the delivery from DPD can I arrange to pick up from my local DPD depot? Yes. There is a facility to do this via the email or text you receive from DPD.

Do DPD text if missed delivery?
If you have missed a parcel from DPD, you may receive a text message similar to the one below. The key point to note is the website link in the text message is a scam – the differences between this and the genuine DPD website addresses are subtle, but they are vital.
If you are sent a product that is faulty or not what you wanted, send it back by DPD.
