What do NZ Post tracking numbers start with?
Tracking numbers Your tracking number should look like this 'AA123456789NZ', or for courier parcels '1005410001051701ASH003JS'. For non-courier parcels, there should be two letters at the beginning and end of the number sequence.15-Feb-2022

Is NZ Post reliable?
“Reliable Company” Soooo much better than fastway/aramex. I send on average 5-15 parcels a week, parcels that are auckland-auckland are always delivered the next day after pick up and I have never had a problem with a parcel with courier post.

What do I do if my parcel hasn't arrived?

How do you know if a tracking number is real?
Instead of clicking on a link, go to the shipper's website and manually key in the tracking number to confirm it's real. If the price seems too good to be true, there's probably something wrong. Why is my parcel tracking not updating?
Most often when a parcel's tracking has stopped updating, it is simply due to a small delay in the delivery, or a delay in the tracking system registering the parcel's progress. However, if your parcel tracking has stopped for more than two or three days, there could be complications with the delivery itself.

What happens to lost mail NZ?
Undelivered letters, small parcels and all registered mail are returned to the country they were sent from. Parcels that are insured or over 2kg, and courier items, are dealt with according to the instructions on the customs declaration or consignment note.
